Or Daniel Touret
Through my passion for travelling, I have been fortunate enough to experience different cultures and their own unique rituals and customs. What has always fascinated me; however is that through all these various heritages, the art of giving a gift and the satisfaction that a person gets from something as simple as gifting always remains constant.
My focus has always been in experiencing local culture through the artisans and creators in fields such as trading, gastronomy, art, and architecture. This unique international perspective has enabled me to discover real treasures around the world, and a real appreciation and knack for discovering diamonds in the rough.
I have always believed that the thought process which goes on behind a gift is as important as the act of giving itself, and it is through my travels and experiences that I grasped the real meaning of gifting. To me, a priceless gift is one that has an incredible amount of care behind it, and is tailor made uniquely for you.
It is through my personally hand curated items, behind which I have put all my love and creativity that I know you will find whatever your heart desires.
Gifting is an art, not a science. An act of nobility. There is something so special about giving a thoughtful gift and embracing the joy it brings. As early as I can remember, birthdays have always been a significant event (or, a special occasion) as the gifts were laid perfectly under the fire place. It’s been engrained within me watching my father planning and surprising my mother. Every single detail made the occasion more special, from the pomegranates, dates and flowers that he had picked out to the surprise flight on Concord to once in a lifetime experiences. Whilst every surprise was different, that personal touch remained the same.
Born into a family of art from her mother’s side and jewellery from her father’s, Violetta has a unique eye when it comes to finding the perfect gift. After completing her masters and going on to qualify as a diamond specialist at the GIA in New York, Violetta went on to work for the family jewellery business, de GRISOGONO. Working with clients from all over the world, Violetta has a great understanding of people; different cultures and traditions as well as different personalities. This aspect of Violetta’s work is what most fascinates; learning and understanding the district differences between her clients and understanding what they would most love. This fascination is what Violetta loves about gifting and helping her GiftVault clients find the perfect gift.
